What happened this month:

• He is super fast at crawling
• Plays catch (has been for a while, I guess I forgot to mention that earlier)
• Tried mangoes, bread and pasta. Likes the first two, not so much the pasta
• Lived without daddy for a week (dad went to Honduras on a service trip with school)
• Started to sleep through the night more :) (Thank you "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child")
• Learned the sign for "more" and uses it ALL THE TIME!
• Celebrated his first Easter by watching He Is Risen and finding Easter Eggs with Abigail
• Tries to stand without holding onto anything (first time April 7th)
• Loves snuggling with mama :)
• Reaches for dad or anyone else for that matter while I hold him, and then reaches right back for me
• Enjoyed the few fluke days of spring by going on walks and watching Abigail play with Chalk.
• Went to the Science Center of Iowa (separate blog post)
• Went to a kids health fair at school

Abigail's first talk in Primary!

As the title says, Abigail gave her first talk in Primary. I am pretty sure I was more excited about it than she was. Her whole talk was basically in her own words. I helped put it together and added one sentence to it. It was on Jesus Christ Our Savior.
I asked her what she knew about Jesus and here is her talk/what she said!:

Jesus Christ helps us be healthy and sleep good. Jesus Christ helps us say prayers. He got baptized and died for all of us. He was resurrected and lives. Jesus Christ loves us, and because of his Atonement, we can return to live with him and Heavenly Father again.

I thought it was so funny as I asked her what she knew about Christ, she had originally said, "Sometimes he dies.... and sometimes he gets baptized.... and sometimes he is a statue for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (referring to a Christus statue we have).

Anyway, hope you enjoyed our little girl who is getting so big. We love her so much!!

Here's what happened this month:

• Celebrated his first Valentine's Day
• Tried eating pears, sweet potatoes, peas, carrots and peaches
• His first tooth broke through on February 22 (bottom left)
• Started opening and closing his hands (waving kinda) back to me to on February 28
• Slept through the night (only one night)
• 2nd tooth broke through on March 3rd
• Started clapping March 4th
• Went sledding with Abigail, Grandpa and mom
• Continues to say "ma" and "ba" and has added "da"
• LOVES playing with Abigail
• Loves looking in mirrors
• Tries to grab all babies, he is enamored with all the babies girls from church

Here's this months' activities:

• Ate cereal and continues to eat it! 
• Celebrated mom's birthday by "eating" Jethro's and seeing grandpa
• Got 6 month shots :(
• Jan 23rd, Jonas sat himself up from laying on the ground
• Jan 23rd, Jonas started CRAWLING!!!!
• Tried eating beans, prunes and bananas and likes them all!
• Jan 30, Jonas pulled himself up to stand!
• Wakes up every 2-3 hours (not cool buddy, not cool)
• Cries "ma-ma" when he is sad
• Says "ba" and "ma" and grunts a lot
• Watched the Super Bowl with friends

 Yup, I cut my hair and haven't posted a picture until now, and it's not even a good picture of it

• Celebrated the new year
• Is mesmerized by the cat and tries to grab her
• Went to the ocean on December 27
• Went to Disneyland!!! (Jan 4th)
• Sits by himself
• Sat in the snow after Winter Storm Draco
• Tries getting on his knees to crawl
• Will walk if you hold him up

• Received his 4 month shots
• Went to Washington D.C.
• Started sleeping in his crib-in HIS room (with Abigail)
• Had thanksgiving at Grandmas and Grandpas
• Likes playing the piano on his tummy
• Loves playing with abigail
• Tries to stay sitting up by himself
• Celebrated daddy's birthday
• Met santa clause at the ward Christmas party
• Loves growling -thanks to Abigail :)
• Scoots backwards and turns around when on his tummy
• Loves playing Peek-a-boo
• Tries to push himself up when on his tummy
